Hotel Operations Manager, George

The ideal candidate will have experience in Food & Beverage Management, Kitchen Management / Costing / General Operations in FPH and BOH. Excellent communication skills, strong management skills and professionalism are essential.

Duties:

  • Day to day running of the restaurants and kitchens. Must be well organised
  • Manage stocktakes with other outlet managers
  • Maintain Health and Safety policies and procedures and overall hygiene
  • Training, discipline, managing and motivating of staff for all outlets
  • Coordinating the operation of the restaurants
  • Look for opportunities to improve procedures, and make improvements where appropriate
  • Co ordinate / advise on menu and wine lists
  • Any other responsibilities relating to the restaurant operations as outlined by management

About you:

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Flexible availability
  • Lead by example
  • Can do attitude and solution focused

Requirements:

  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a senior F&B Manager and / or Chef
  • Tertiary qualification as a Chef / Hotel Management / Hospitality will be beneficial
