Utilize your qualification in the IT sector to develop your skills and knowledge within the cloud and back up environments.
We are looking for individuals with high energy levels and absolute focus to be trained as a Back up / Cloud Engineer.
This is not a remote position and you will be expected to work from our offices in Roodepoort.
The following knowledge and experience will be an advantage:
- Disaster Recovery
- Back up and replication
- Data transfer
- Management of cloud infrastructure
- Technologies: TSM, Commvault, NetBackup, Veeam Backup and Replication
- Tape storage pools & tape libraries
- Maintenance of Virtual (VTLs) and Physical Tape libraries
- Manage windows server backups running on VMware
- Possible development skills, i.e Java Python
